A blink of time. He opened his bloodshot eyes to the sight of fire and debris. Dark stones crumbled on his feet and an aching sore all over his body consumed him. He felt a tinging pain inside his head several times over. ... Where was he? Oh.. Right. About to die against a cold wall alone. He looked down at his staggering self with blood dripping from his mouth to the floor with a few red stains on his cloth. He couldn't feel his legs too much.. They were so worn out and swollen, he didn't even think of moving them without breaking another bone. He could hardly breathe either with all the coughing. Or move. Or even hear. But he could see, and all he saw was total destruction around him. Darkners and fellow friends succumbed to their fates right out of his reach. It was a graveyard. Where was his healing magic? His items? Was it all used up? As he took another slow breather through his pain, he had the strength to look down again. His glasses fell down to the floor

What a nightmare.. Ralsei sat up screaming from his loft bed, grabbing onto his heart with his miniature claws, digging into the nightgown he wore so sleazy.
